Swiss Steak
Ingredients:
1½ | lbs. Beef |
Flour | |
1 | medium Onion (sliced) |
3 | tbs. chopped Green Peppers |
3 | tbs. Fat |
1 | can of Tomato Sauce |
1 | cup of Water |
1 | tsp. Worcestershire Sauce |
1½ | tsp. Salt |
¼ | tsp. Pepper |
Directions:
In a heavy skillet, cook the Onion and Green Pepper until tender. Then, pound the Flour into the Beef with the edge of a heavy plate.
Brown the meat on both sides in the fat then add the other ingredients and simmer for about 1½ hours until tender.
