Orange Kiss Me Cake
One 13x9 cake
Ingredients:
1 | 6 oz. can of thawed orange juice |
2 | cups of flour |
1 | cup of sugar |
1 | teaspoon of baking soda |
1 | teaspoon of salt |
½ | cup of shortening |
½ | cup of milk |
2 | eggs |
1 | cup of raisins |
⅓ | cup of chopped walnuts |
Directions:
Grease and flour the bottom of a 13x9 inch cake pan.
Combine ½ cup of orange juice with the remaining ingredients into a large bowl. Blend at the lowest speed then pour into the pan. Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes.
Drizzle the remaining orange juice over the warm cake and springle with sugar-nut topping.
Sugar Nut Topping:
⅓ | cup sugar |
½ | cup walnuts |
1 | teaspoon cinnamon |
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl.
