Boston Style Fish Roll
Ingredients:
Flounder (fillet) | |
Chile Sauce | |
Sour Cream | |
boiled Potatoes | |
Butter | |
Milk | |
Salt and Pepper | |
Paprika | |
Parsley |
Directions:
Allow one slice per person. Using the one slice per person method allows this recipe to be increased to serve any number of people.
Mash potatoes with butter, salt and milk. Allow amount of potatoes in proportion to that of Flounder used.
Wash Flounder. Grease large baking dish. Lay Flounder flat and cover with mashed potatoes. Roll each slice jelly roll type. Fasten with toothpicks until each slice is filled with potatoes.
Prepare a sauce made of equal parts chile sauce and sour cream.
Season fish with salt, pepper, butter, parsley, paprika and pour ½ the sauce over fish. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Cover fish with remaining sauce and bake 5-10 minutes more.
